The Chinese market is responsible for a good part of the mini-PC that are regularly introduced on the market to Pipo also has some cards to play in this regard. The new Pipo X8 is a mini-PC that attempts to propose a design a bit ‘different from the usual and the hybrid features.
When it comes to hybrids have gotten used to thinking of ultrabook with detachable keyboards but, in this case, the choice made by Pipo is slightly different. The X8 is in fact a small desktop device, a box, which incorporates a display with full-touch capabilities in its own frame.
According to the manufacturer the Pipo X8 would be a Windows tablet with built-in TV Box and the decision to include a touch screen would depend on the need to eliminate the licensing fees of Windows 8, provided free of charge for the tablet’s small size.
As for the technical configuration mini-PC is based on an Intel Atom 1.8GHz Z3735F or on a Atom Z3736F 2.16 GHz depending on the model.
