Eeebook X205 is a new netbook from Asus, the price will be set at 199 EUR.
The old line of Eee PC from Asus will have a spiritual successor: it is Eeebook X205, presented by the Taiwanese company at the IFA 2014 The new incarnation of the second Asus netbook will arrive on the market with Windows 8.1 with Bing, costing 199 euro: a new direct competitor to the Chromebook line, in fact.
Eeebook X205 will have a 11.6 inch screen HD-Led, while the processor will be a quad-core Intel Atom. Regarding the RAM, the netbook will have a quantity of 2GB, accompanied by a double version of memory for data storage: 32GB or 64GB, with the possibility of exploiting in both cases for two years the offer Free Asus WebStorage (cloud) with 500GB.
In terms of connectivity, Eeebook X205 will have dual-port USB 2.0 (no 3.0 then), Micro-SD, Micro-HDMI and Wi-Fi. The netbook will be available in four different colors: white, black, red and gold.
Keyboard and trackpad will be designed in line with those of the size normally found on laptops from 14 inches, as revealed by the product manager Derek Yu, and to complete their specific weight and thickness are, respectively, 980 grams and 1.75 inches tall.
